About Weird Ireland
Weird Ireland is a multimedia project, ran by myself, Brinsley McNamara, documenting the interesting and unique places, stories, people, and stuff across Ireland. It started off as a social media project on Instagram, TikTok and other social media platforms.
However, now it’s also a book published in November 2024, a podcast available on all the streaming services, and more to come!
So far we’ve seen mystery markers on the walls of the town of Oldcastle in County Meath, Ireland’s indigenous fast food franchise, Supermacs, and how you can get just milk with your meal there, the Stone Age passage tomb of Four Knocks where you get the key from one of the neighbours
"...you can set off in any direction and begin exploring the world on your own. Good luck!"
